Research & evidence library
Read the question, the method, and the limitations behind a result.

Research is most useful when people can see how a conclusion was reached. This library is organized around decisions communities face, starting with coconut rhinoceros beetle.
Begin with the CRB evidence review
The CRB evidence guide links to experiments and institutional assessments, distinguishes field results from laboratory results, and identifies unresolved questions. Read it alongside the nonchemical management guide.
Metarhizium paper collection
The Metarhizium collection, added October 21, 2026, links original CRB papers, a historical little-fire-ant research lead, and public research records. Its notes distinguish laboratory findings, field observations, insect species, and product-specific evidence.
How to read a result
- What organism, place, material, or tree was actually studied?
- What outcome was measured: mortality, capture, damage, survival, or something else?
- Was there a comparison group and adequate replication?
- How long did observations continue?
- Were adverse effects and funding relationships disclosed?
- Do the results apply to the conditions at your site?
Institutional research records
The government HISC reports library provides routes into funded research and other public records. An award announcement documents an award. A report describes work performed. A peer-reviewed article adds a distinct review process. None should be silently substituted for another.
