Resources & reference desk
A starting point for original documents, practical guidance, and public records.
Follow a topic to the source rather than relying on an unattributed claim. Each article in this website includes its own references and a source-check date.
Field and species information
Start with the CRB resource center for the most developed set of guides. The species library includes introductory pages on several other concerns and links to the broader State directory.
Cultural and community resources
The stewardship section identifies community-authored material and sets expectations for permission and attribution. References do not imply that their authors have reviewed or endorsed this site.
Government records
Use plans, meeting records, project awards, and final reports together. They answer different questions. Keep the date and version of every document used to support an accountability claim.
How this library will grow
The source inventory contains the official HISC page directory and archive collections. Each item needs a decision: summarize, adapt with sources, link as an external record, exclude chemical recommendations, or retain only as historical context.
Sources & further reading
References support the topics discussed above. A link does not imply partnership or endorsement. Some external sources also discuss treatments outside this site’s nonchemical scope.
